Hello IRONMEN of Legacy!
Just want to update you and encourage you to participate in Reclaiming our Culture and Rebuilding the Wall. I am passionate about what I sense God calling me to and what I also feel God is calling us to as a men's ministry. Last night was our first step in the process of equipping ourselves to be a part of the solution that our nation desperately needs in making it's way back to the Lordship of Christ and the recognition of His ways.
You will notice when you come in the foyer that there is a "wall" constructed that says, "Reclaiming the Culture". That wall is a testament to our commitment as men to live in such a way as to not bring reproach against the cause of Christ. Even if you were unable to be with us last night, you still have opportunity to put your name and pledge on the wall. Every time we walk out of the house of God we will see that wall and be reminded that our lives are an open book and if the Gospel is rejected it will not be rejected because of our hypocrisies or inconsistencies. We are going to live our best before a watching world so that they might hear the message that will be the answer to our current challenges and problems.
I will mention this again briefly this coming Sunday, but you can find the pledge sheet at the information desk, sign it, and get it to me or one of our leaders and they can attach it to the wall. It is the starting place for rebuilding the Godly influence in our culture. I encourage you to make that pledge and embrace the accountability it will bring. I have already heard from a number of the women about how encouraged they are to see men putting their names and reputations on the line for the Gospel.
REMEMBER...every SECOND and FOURTH TUESDAY at 7:00pm, we will be meeting for equipping and training in this regard. I am as passionate about this as I have been about anything in recent years. Invite your friends as well because it will take ALL of us to once again leaven the culture for the cause of Christ.
